Makin Espresso Signature Model
Reply #1 - Dec 13th, 2007, 10:06pm

Hi guys,

Thought it was about time I supported the Coffee snobs crew and of course Andy.

I have been working in the coffee industry for a number of years and was lucky enough to travel through Italy last year. I visited several espresso machine suppliers and started a great relationship with an Italian Machine manufacturer, that now builds my signature home espresso machine. There is a photo attached above and several more on my website but the technical specs are;

Group Head: Lever operated E61 commercial group head
Water Reservoir: 3 litre with inline water filter
Water Level: Auto cut off and LED light warning for low water level
Water Wastage: 2 litre drip tray with easy removal & emptying
Electrical spec: 240v 60hz 1300watt (standard household outlet)
Boiler: 1.3 litre copper boiler with Heat Exchanger
Pump: Vibrating pump set to 9bar
Gauges: Boiler pressure and water pressure gauges
Outer shell: All stainless steel with non slip rubber feet
Dimensions: (W x D x H) 29cm x 41cm x 43cm
Weight: 16.8 kg
Warranty: 12 months parts & labour (returned to place of purchase) Accessories Single & Double group handle, measuring spoon & instruction manual

I have recently had some modifications made to the machine including;
* Pressure stat access through the top of the machine
* Commercial group handles with improved filter baskets
* Brew pressure set at 9 bar through OPV

I am proud to put my name to the machine and look forward to speaking with any CS  members about the machine.

The Makin Espresso Machine usually $2,450

is now only $2,150 inc gst (no credit cards)

and I will throw in a free 2 hour training session with me so you can get the most out of it, so when all the family is over for Christmas day begging for a latte and a babycino for the grandchildren you can deliver!!
